1) Mario's ass is faster than him

2) Has starred in a grand total of TWO games, with both games revolving around him trying to find Mario

3) Supporting characters like Yoshi, DK, & Wario have starred in more games than him

4) He shares that girl

Daisy was rescued by Mario from the clutches of Tatanga in Super Mario Land, and she rewarded him with a kiss upon her rescue. Mario has never explicitly expressed an interest in her, nor has Daisy to him. In Mario Party 5, Mario and Daisy are given the team name "Nice Couple" when paired together, while they do not share player chemistry at all in Mario Superstar Baseball and in Mario Super Sluggers. Regardless, Daisy and Mario have been officially stated to be good friends on numerous occasions.

5) Nowhere to be found in Mario 64, the most popular N64 game of all time

6) He was ethered in SSB Brawl, it was... just... vulgar
