No. Vince getting lazy is the worst thing to happen to pro wrestling. Just because your main competition ceases operations doesnt mean you slowly become as bad as they were.

If that merger doesn’t happen, there’s no executive who decides he doesn’t want pro wrestling on any of their networks, which tanked the stock of wcw and allowed Vince to buy it for maybe $1 million.

Well the issue is with them gone ever since then he makes all the booking mistakes they used to and then some. The broken Hardy’s should be prominently featured on the show now, but they aren’t and now Jeff is hurt and Matt is basically just sitting on the bench with no plays drawn up for him. If wcw doesn’t fold, he can’t afford to botch the summer of punk or ignoring Bryan or trying to force feed Roman or cena to the crowd. I mean they haven’t gotten the royal rumble right since 2010. If they had real competition, they couldn’t afford to botch that for seven years in a row.
