No. Anti-vaxxers don't just put their kids in danger. They put every person their unvaccinated crotch dumpling is exposed to in danger. Elderly people, people with immune deficiencies, people with chronic illnesses, babies too young to vaccinate. It is the ultimate in privilege-flaunting to not protect your child from these diseases and also risk exposing innocent bystanders with weakened immune systems to them.
Andrew Wakefield, the doctor who started this whole nonsense, had his credentials stripped for falsifying evidence that vaccines cause autism. Each and every one of the major anti-vaccine activists has a shop peddling holistic tap water or 'suppliments' that might as well be gummy vitamins for all the good they do patients. It's a scam from the ground up, to appeal to middle and upper class parents who want to flaunt how much smarter they are about their parenting.
Just thinking about it makes me mad.
