Personally, I believe this may well be true but have not seen convincing evidence other than just the look of certain central and south american native peoples and some of their art/culture. The trip from the tip of Guinea-Bissau Africa due west to the eastern coast of Brazil near Sao Paulo is like driving up the Californian coast and back down. That gap can be sailed in a few weeks and the water is warm.

Africans are also first in the phillipines. Noone important has stated it yet but I think that on the way there some stayed in India, hence their dark skin still being prevalent and dreadlocks being sported by their clergy

that's the point. In a country where Native Americans were once the vast majorities, we now have to search to find them, and when we do find them, we find that many suffer from Alcoholism and other plagues due to colonialism.

SOME are getting theirs now though, AND the have the community to help support it, they still have identities as tribes, which IMHO will be the reason they bounce back and are able to do certain things. That and Casinos. I've said before but i'll say again I got a little cousin who just turned 18 and is half some tribe or another but he got something like 450k when he turned 18 and is now getting 8k a month...just for being an indian.
He bought a house and is putting himself through college to get a graphics are degree or some design shyt. He was like, "I know it's not really a solid degree, but I'm actually able to follow my dream vs having to force myself to do the practical thing." (he's very intelligent).
