I already explained myself if you were to go back about a page or two (depends on your thread settings). Pac/DR dominated most of the 90's rap game. I mean Biggie/Puff/Bad Boy held the East down for 3 yrs but I wasn't checking for Nas or Jay-Z in the 90's as a teen. Pac/DR had my ear back then. Sorry...

Hey man I'm from Detroit but the West was destroying shyt in the 90's with Pac, Snoop, Warren G, Dr. Dre, Luniz, E40 etc., The West was RAW. To be fair, I had some Bad Boy albums to be fair Life After Death, Harlem World, The Lox, Puff Daddy, Craig Mack. As I got older I learned to expand my taste w/rap.

When the late 90's - early 00's I was at a crossroads with rap until I gave folks like Jay, Em 50/G-Unit, Xzhibit, etc., a chance.
