Imma put a down payment on a condo. I could be paying hundreds less for my own place than I'm paying in rent. And at the end of the PhD program I'll have to move wherever the tenure track position is, but I can just rent it out to family or use it as an investment property. If i stay nearby I can tell my parents to downsize, sell their house and move into a little condo and I can help them retireI got a few ideas
. I'm also gonna pay off a small student loan and get my car checked for issues. I'm hitting the 100,000 mile mark. Timing belt might need changing...
