Patience is the key.
Life is looking up. I found out I still have access to this training course from a previous employer so I'm going to start freshening up on some skills. After speaking with the realtor yesterday, I'm pretty excited about how I can tie my IT skills into real estate. He told me he wanted to grow his team using technology but he doesn't have the time to manage the technologies himself. A lot of what he described are projects I've worked on for other companies. It made me excited about real estate again although I still feel pretty pessimistic about it.
