I see where you coming from. People always automatically think nerd = awkward/lame/smart, and just stay at lame to sum it up. The thing is, it's mostly by their looks and personalty, so you may see it's more of a lame and awkward thing most of time.Being a nerd/geek/being awkward is fine. But when it defines your entire personality, eh.
I like weirdos so I'm not roasting.
The good thing is there is more and more of people who are nerds, being smart with it by using it to their advantage by dressing more better, becoming more funny with smart jokes, and etc. out of things with very cringe-worthiness. You can see plenty of this on youtube, nerds stay eating off what how they act and know
