Anyone else's mom bring up depressing stuff outta nowhere? There's always a lull of silence and next thing you know, she's like, "Did I tell you about so and so who had a brain anuerysum/got hit by a car/became homeless/choked to death/has cancer?"
omg yes!! Not my mom but this older lady did that to me. We were just having a casual convo, short silence and she goes "yeah my moms friend was beheaded in a car accident".
