It doesn't feel like Christmas. Last night I fell asleep listening to the toy story (1,2,3) soundtrack and I still haven't watched any version of how the grinch stole Christmas or The Christmas story.
I've made a few trips to the store these past few weeks and picked up a few things for the kids but gave it to them shortly after. I also don't wrap gifts. Its a waste, save a tree. Anyways, they don't have gifts under the tree to open this morning. Luckily they're cool with it because they know how I am anyway.
My family is making gumbo which I don't eat. All the food places are closed so I took a ribeye out the freezer to grill later.
None of this helps because my husband is still on the road at work and probably stuck somewhere in Utah judging by the text he sent me last night.
So yeah....it doesn't feel like Christmas. Good day.
