What does this 4K business mean?

The number of pixels in the TV. 4K is 3840 (horizontal) × 2160 (vertical)....

You probably have a 1080p TV which is 1920 x 1080 pixles....4K is basically a LOT more pixels in the screen

I just bought a 4k tv earlier this year... I can't justify dropping another 600 this year on a tv even though that's a super good deal and better than the one I got in feb...
