I'm just waiting to see what happens when those tanks arrive in UKR. They slapped Scholz around to comply and I think Germany knows deep down we are inching toward a red line. I'm just worried shyt hits the fan one day with no warning.

Leopard 2 tanks are fairly competent main battle tanks. The UK made Challenger 2's are the ones that can really go toe to toe with Russia's T-90s..the problem is that Ukraine is not trained to deal with the maintenance and fuel requirements in dealing with the M1 Abrams and Leopards versus those Russian/Soviet made T-72s and few 90's they have. It's a stalling tactic until they decide the best way to get some planes on the ground for the Ukrainians to use.

Russia has air superiority over Ukrainian air space. They don't even need to engage Ukrainian/NATO forces directly.. acquire target and bombard to all hell. There's really no point in sending tanks when the Russians are just going to turn them into molten steel..Ukraine needs JETS. That's the TURNING POINT. If Ukraine gets a hold of some F-16's, Super Hornets, etc..then I think all of it goes to hell. Those jets I mentioned CAN get in range relative to Moscow..very dangerous game we're playing. And I'm hearing they've begun training remnants of the Ukrainian military who're familiar with flying old Russian/Soviet Sukhoi jets to get familiar with the F-16's systems. It's only a matter of time.

Dmitry Medvedev, the former Russian President, has pretty much said they've given enough warning and if it comes right down to it, they'll set it off on Berlin, London, DC, Paris, New York, etc..you even got broadcasters, politicians, journalists and some of the public over in Russia straight up calling for nukes to be dropped NOW over that catastrophe where a bunch of Russian troops got killed in their barracks. My concern is that public outrage THERE over losses might provoke a response we're NOT AT ALL prepared for.

We don't have viable defenses to counter their hypersonic weapons, our aircraft carriers are EXTREMELY vulnerable to these. We don't have defenses to counter their next gen ICBMs. We don't have defenses against their next gen subs which deflect sonar EFFORTLESSLY. THEY CAN'T BE TRACKED. Head to head in a conventional war.. we'd hold our own but I doubt a conventional war would stay that for long.

Yeah you see those news reports where Jens Stoltenberg is trying to twist the Koreans' arms into giving Ukraine weapons? What the fukk does ROK have to do with NATO? They are literally trying to drag the whole damn world into this which is nuts. If all of China's neighbors jump on board, they may feel a less need to be hesitant on backing Moscow. Not sure the strategy here.

Day 4 of my stay in the hospital. Had some issues breathing and found out I've had pneumonia for almost a month which exacerbated some heart issues. Cardiac catheterization tomorrow. Ultrasound, stress test, and EKG found nothing. Probably going home on Wednesday with a bunch of scripts.

Coulda been worse......I suppose.​
