Be careful of the person who is strong enough to survive living in their head.
BTW, I'm thankful I wasn't raised to live my life through the phone or to expect to always have people around me. That phone life shyt is TIRING. Just being on it is exhausting. Even just chilling out and living in the moment is just fine with me. The fact that so much shyt is accessible because of these smartphones and apps is a huge turn off for me. I actually miss the days where we had to wait for the store to open in order to buy something or wait til something comes in the mail which may be a 2 weeks and etc. Theres no thrill anymore in terms of ANTICIPATION. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO EXPERIENCING THE ANTICIPATION? ANTICIPATION IS CONFUSED FOR ANXIETY NOW. Having to wait makes people uncomfortable now because smartphones and apps ruined patience. I remember us receiving letters from family in the uk 3 months after they sent them.
A lot of you ADD folks that are young are that way because you're raised to expect things to come to you right away. No such thing as learning how to be patient, no such thing as delayed gratification, or even putting in work to learn how to do something so you become an expert or master at the craft. Just quick, mediocrity, no talent, no skill, no value. shyt is embarrassing. Learn how to be patient and relax. Some of us aren't fortunate enough to fast forward through life. Slow down.
The good news is my generation is aging out of the young people stage so what I'm saying shouldn't be crazy talk.
