It sucks to see black Los Angeles fall

I’m running out of places to go

As someone who visited Los Angeles and Oakland as a teen in the 90's..your statement hurts like hell, I had so much fun out there as a kid. LA was so paradoxical to me back then because nikkas was so chill and laid back but the switch up was so real and came quick when nikkas flipped to go on the defensive, it was crazy as fukk.

Thanks. Would it also not take more courage to be proactive? Take action? Instead of waiting?
Regardless of the action, it requires patience to see the results. It’s all unknown and requires faith to keep moving forward.

For example, a person can apply for 100 jobs and never hear back. Another person can apply for 1 job at a company their uncle manages and get hired instantly.

In hindsight one could deduce it’s better to put actions toward networking rather than applying, but the unknown results of either action is what requires the courage to me and why the tweet resonated with me.
