The govt doesn't give a fukk about cancel culture as long as taxes are paid.
Even in the bible, the romans were cool with letting Jesus rock cause he wasn't out there telling people to not pay taxes. He never told people to rebel against rome. He wasn't threatening their power. He wasn't hating. He peeped game and was trying to show people how to win within that system. It was the pharasees who were trying to cancel him. They kept trying to trip him up because he was a threat to THEIR power. So they used the roman govt as a tool to execute him. And he was cancelled on a technicality if i remember correctly. Jesus was giving the game away for free and they (the pharasees) plotted against him because too many people were starting to follow him. They even got his own man to turn on him...
