This afternoon, I started reading a book on Turkic imperialism (the sort of thing that I do in my spare time). At the start of the book there is a little passage where the historian discusses the first contact between the Gokturks, who were the first Turks to really get it popping like that, and the Byzantines in Constantinople. It reminded me so much of the scene from The Wire, you know, where Marlo goes to meet the Greeks. Like "I'm the new boss of this area, you do business with me now." I'll quote:

In the 2,000 years of nomad domination, few of the shepherd kings of Asia were indifferent to economic advantage. The rudest barbarian quickly learnt that it was preferable to tax rather than to plunder the merchant and the manufacturer... to encourage the flow of commerce was the surest means to the prosperity of his kingdom or tribe. The silk of China had long been in demand in the West, and the road through the oases of Central Asia had been for centuries a principal highway of world trade.

A bit of context here: silk, in this time period and this part of the world, was like heroin and cocaine in the universe of The Wire. A lot of money in those fabrics, and a lot of demand for them.

But before the precious cargo could be unloaded [in Europe], it must pass through the territories of Persia, the hereditary enemy of Rome, and in the constant wars between the two great powers, a trade embargo often stopped the flow [of silk]. In the reign of Justinian, an attempt was made to introduce the manufacture of silk into Greece, so as to render the Byzantines independent of supplies from the Far East, but the Roman business houses were unwilling to forgo the importation of more finished products from China.

Because quite often there would be problems with getting a regular supply, they tried making silk in Europe, but it wasn't as good and the factories still preferred to import Chinese silks. This is like how Stringer struggled to find a good and reliable supplier for the Barksdale organisation. He tried to keep his business going with the weak shyt they were getting from Atlanta or wherever when Avon was in jail, but it wasn't as good and the customers weren't having it. In the end the Barksdale organisation had to deal with Prop Joe (and by extension, the Greeks) to get the quality heroin out on the streets.

The arrival of the Turks in western Asia opened up new and favourable prospects. Maniakh, a Sogdian chief with, one may suppose, a financial interest in the silk trade, suggested to Istemi [the Khan of the Gokturks] that he should seek direct contact with the Byzantines and himself offered to lead an embassy to Constantinople. The offer was accepted; the mission was despatched; and the envoys reached the imperial capital and presented their credentials to Justin II, the nephew of the great Justinian, in 568, and the Byzantine world received its first impression of a people who nine centuries later were to proclaim Turkish sovereignty over the city of Constantinople.

So this guy Maniakh, who had previously been involved in the silk trade before the Turkic conquests, saw an opportunity to improve the business globally, and obviously to increase his own standing in it. He asked the Turkic king if he could, on his behalf, head over to Europe and see if he couldn't make a silk deal. This is a lot like how Avon handles Marlo with trying to get in touch with the Greeks. Avon, like Maniakh, could read the play and knew to insert himself into it as the middleman, the guy who could make it happen or who could shut it down, in exchange for getting what he wanted out of Marlo.

To the emperor Justin, Maniakh brought the offer of friendship and alliance in the name of his suzerain Istemi, and represented the common interest of the two sovereigns in maintaining an uninterrupted, commercial intercourse. The Byzantines were not unimpressed... Zemarchus of Cilicia was deputed to accompany Maniakh on his return, and convey the greetings of his imperial master to the Turks.

The deal was struck; from now on, the Byzantines would get their silk direct from the Turks, in ample quality at regular intervals, and with quality assured. The Turks had taken out whoever was previously in charge of that, this meeting would have been about letting the Byzantines know that it was still business as usual, just dealing with a different guy now. "I'll miss Joe" :wow:

The vaccinated, even those who only took one shot, will be fully exposed to the grid. You will suffer from radiation sickness and you will most likely die.

The question that has not been fully addressed is the build up, post vaccination, in regards to iron buildups or becoming “magnetic”..the evidence of such has trickled out to the public but misleading statements and straight out lies have been told to deflect from the reason this is happening.

The purpose of these shots, which don’t even help inoculate against COVID, is to change your metal ionic balance, hence the magnetism and the altering of the bodies electro-chemical make up. Our own bodies are basically transmitters and receivers of electro magnetic radiation. To alter the balance, even slightly, makes us more or less susceptible to external energy inputs such as the “high intensity microwave radiation” frequencies coming from something like 5G. The blood clot issues and other side effects regarding the vaccines are related to this mass infusion of nano-metallic particulates into the body.

I hinted at the 5G network applications being more so a necessity for military applications than civilian awhile in this thread. It is a military grade weapons system firstly with civilian applications in direct communications as a secondary system. A person targeted with a high enough frequency will experience radiation sickness which has symptoms comparable to the flu, altitude sickness and respiratory failure.
