I went outside to take out my recycling. Some car pulls up, and a man waves his hand for me to come over.

Me: No.

He gets out the car, and says he used to do the lawn when my mom and stepdad lived here. I tell him I took over the house, and I do the lawn.

Him: Do you have any work that needs to be done.

Me: I’m working on my backyard next week because it rained this week. Can you cut down these tree branches from the neighbor?

Him: I’ll do it for $15

Me: Ok.

Now I have someone to cut down branches, and I might pay him to dig the parts of the garden for my backyard makeover.

Keep in mind he had NO MASK and was getting too close to talk. I kept backing up, but he kept coming closer.
