I dont like black history month

Growing up it was great, learned about blacks and what they did to thrive in this country.
But now that I'm older I feel like its inauthentic. Its contrived af, it feels like "here's your lil month for half of it we gon talk about yall being treating inhumanely and yall getting your ass beat then the other half we gonntalk about some folks who were the 1st to do something or invented something"
And now that I'm older I see how these folks really move and it's all lip service.
Either represent, celebrate, and respect our culture 365. Treat us with equality and give us the same opportunity or shut the fukk up and go somewhere.

Maybe I'm too cynical for my own good that I can't enjoy anything anymore. And not cause I'm super woke, I'm not and never will claim to be, but it just doesn't sit right with me.
