My daughter broke her school device today (slipped off her lap onto the floor before she could catch it). The day before holiday break lol At least it’s only a half day today, we will figure this out in 2021.

Call the school tech support line about 10 times saying it doesn’t work and she can’t do her school work....that’s for your paper trail. They’ll get her a new one and you don’t have to pay for the old one.

Oh I definitely wasn't paying for a new one. I'm a poor, single mother The funny thing is, the school system was a victim of ransomware maybe two weeks ago. They said any student with an HP Windows device had to swap out, which my daughter has. The day I was supposed to go, it snowed and they cancelled for the day. They are going to issue a new schedule after the winter break to get a new device, so it kinda worked out. Plus my daughter got a new TV, and doesn't have to use the school device to watch Netflix after school hours anymore.
