Yo how does 9th Wonder get that swing in his beats WITHOUT any hi hats ?

but since old school producers gon act like they never used swing, you turn off quantize (or rather don't touch it) play your drums into whatever your using and edit the pattern until you feel the rhythm you want from the beat. quantizing puts it on the grid which puts it on time. you don't want that if you tryna make beats like 9th.
