I'll PM a pic of my hair. It doesnt take product AT ALL. Care free curl and coconut or another natural oil is the only thing it likes. Care free curl is amazing! And also ORS replenishing pack $1.75 a pack, you may need 2, is a godsend!!!

Edit: nvm I cant PM it here's the side of my wash and go. I have all the hair types from 3c to 4b

Oh wow you have a lot of hair and your curls are pronounced and it doesn’t look dry. Coconut oil only works for me in warm temps. I was using castor oil when it’s cool, but it just weighs it down. Olive and grape seed do ok, but my hair looks dry still.

I’m going to try the curl stuff you suggested, it’s not expensive at all. I like ORS conditioner too.

I was a product junky especially with shea moisture but my stylist told me I have low porosity? hair and products will just sit on top of it.

Yes, I have low porosity hair as well. I use Shea Moisture low porosity leave in, a curling product and then an oil to seal. The curling product is where I struggle.
