I mean...lots of schools have rules about hairstyles, it's not shocking
lots of the girls have their hair braided, etc. so it's not like they're forcing white hairstyles. seems like the issue is just specifically dreadlocks. i don't know if this is that serious as a legal issue.
and the family says they're not Rasta, so it's not a religious issue.
and it's apparently one of the top primary schools in all of Jamaica. and the articles say the daughter has been performing excellently in class. and the school was established in 1996, so it's not even some old relic of colonialism. so it would suck to pull the girl out over this. is it that serious?
