ive been marathoning shows while i work from home

i ran through family matters, now im on step on step

these shows ran on the same network, on the same night, got the same producers...the theme was written and sung by the same guy

both are campy ass shows

but....Family Matters was far more raw

Laura got jacked at school, then went to buy a gun and her home girl got shot
Eddie got beat up by a gang and dealt with police brutality
White kids spray painted ****** on Laura's locker
Max was dating a coke dealer and got caught up in a sting operation
Eddie almost got beat up for gambling multiple times
Carl got shot and damn near killed on a few episodes
Steve had a hit put out on him for stopping a robbery in progess

So far the hardest thing Step by Step fam had to deal with was one of the kids not giving the dad a message from his job
