Grr, my younger cousin told me a while back he wants to go to Princeton. I’m close to two admissions officers and was going to connect him.
“I don’t want to go, it seems boring”-fair enough, it’s not for everyone. The town is pretty sleepy.
“I want to go to an HBCU” -none specified. Oh okay
Then my recent grad cousin was speaking about his choice the fam was/is confused about.
I asked him did he get/apply for scholarships
“I didn’t apply, my guidance counselor recommended I don’t”
Why do they really say it like I’m supposed to believe that? They take advice from people who barely graduated high school.
