No matter what we do, no matter what tone we take, no matter how well we articulate ourselves...there's always going to be a large swath of the pipulus that doesn't want to take our words seriously or they want to infantilize us cause we scare them.
I said on my tumblr (not even tryingt obe divisive) that if I was a 20 something black woman instead of a 35 year old Black man, my words would be met with more understanding instead people are asking me to validate my own negative experiences with police and say I'm being spiteful.
This society can't even curb it's hatred of Black men for more than 5 minutes. Ironically this is what got George Floyd and many other Black men killed by police and white supremacists.
This idea that we're not human, we're scary, we're potential rapists, robbers, and murderers, and we deserve to die. I'm so fukking sick of this at this point...
