Taking another break from this site.

Its kind of been too much with everything going on...
:snoop:

Nice to vent about these recent events that feel suffocatiing when everything just seems so bleak in this country and the world.

I remember making a thread about depression...maybe dwelling on this is making me too depressed. I just don't see an end to it and it's so exhausting and depressing. And just draining.

*sigh*

I was talking in the booth about growing up and watching Rodney King get beat by cops on the primetime news. Almost 30 years later aint nothing changed...only the names.

That hasnt left me.

Ive always wished for better for black folk in this country.

But I fear it will never change and will only get worse.

:wow:

Have to keep some hope alive though.

I've been listening to Dr. King's speeches on Youtube.

Wven he said he believed he integrated black people into a burning building.

Which means he even believed this country wouldn't change.

:wow:

At the beginning of mean streets
They finna really sit here and try and feed us a shyt sandwich saying this man didn’t die from a knee to the neck

Continue to let that city light up
They tried to say it was high blood pressure and other health issues along with “intoxicants”. Aka he died cause he had poor health and was under the influence. These motherfukkers got the audacity to talk about the Chinese. I bet you if it was no video theyda said he died from covid 19
