her daughter is 16... another daughter is 10.... I’m pretty frightened for her daughters based on a lot of shyt she says and does. Between her and another friend also a single mom of a boy—that be doing crazy shyt too—I can kind of see why people go in on single moms.

I don’t think it’s a single mom thing, I think it’s a immaturity thing. Some people never grow up regardless if they have children or not. Even certain situations don’t make them grow up and clue up. One of my cousins on my moms side is Eritrean. She has kids. She had them really young and grew up in Eritrea (was in national service for years). I mean she’s only 41 and her oldest is 27. She acts like a child. When she talks to me it’s like I’m talking to a 15 year old. Believes all type of nonsense about relationships and she hates the father of her children. Her 27 year old is 10x more mature than her. You’d think with the harsh life her mother lived she’d be more mature. I think she’s trying to live out a childhood she never had. I’ve had to check her a few times. Her daughter wanted to stay with me but I said no. I don’t want no problems with her mother. She nuttier than squirrel shyt and I’ve been told her that. Her sister is married to my brother and she’s sweeter than sweet. I don’t know how they’re related.

I used to beg my mom to let me see them, but the only ones I seen was my ratchet ass cousins from South Central. Besides being hood they was good peoples. Now I understand why my sister in law/cousin is the only one who really knew my mom. She even warned me that her sister is mad immature. Always trash talking her baby father but his ass is the one who smuggled her into America. She tried to tell me “oh your (my mom) daughter, I thought you was Spanish” I look exactly like my mom. I honestly don’t know how you’re friends with her. I’d cut her off. She seems exhausting.

People don’t realize the way you grow up in your early childhood and teenage years is very important to your development hence “coming of age.” A cult can really do damage to someone. It’s possible she’s mentally stuck. When my mom passed a lot of her family started contacting me, then I realized why moms cut them off. They all immature as fukk. The cult fukked her up, and her dad was messing with young girls in the church... from everything I’ve learned about her life, she had a very fukked up upbringing and it def. explains her issues. I deal with her and many of my friends in doses. They all get on my nerves in different ways. But obviously there are commonalities that keep the friendship going. I’m still trying to figure out what they are, but they must be there.
