I'm watching Maximilian dood's new video on his career on youtube and its really making me reminiscence. I remember back in 2005 when the shyt launched and NOBODY gave a shyt about it....it was that new video site that was aight, but wasn't better than yahoo video or dailymotion. Especially for music videos, aol video had that on lock. Then some shyt happened where folks start uploading video game and anime shyt...but it wasn't for views, it was just a form of expression...making AMVs was a THING....

My oldest videos...man I remember using paint, windows movie maker and a lil photoshop to crop the vids lol

But it was just about having fun and watching cool videos....basically a video diary website.....



Then Modern Warfare 2 happened.....and that's when youtubers and the idea of making money came into play. Back in the old days, making money on youtube wasn't even a conceivable concept. Nowadays youtube is the go to place to listen to music.....and that usually consist of watching the music video in the progress. Back then I think at best you'd find some rock songs or super mainstream shyt....this is my first ever favorite'd video, a Street Fighter 2 AMV with DMX uploaded in February 2006
