To get the things you want in life you have to play the game for the most part. But how do I play the game when I don't even believe in it. It would just be me going through the motions being fake and never really being my true self.
But maybe I'm insecure and I don't believe people would like the authentic me. To always have to wear a mask and suppress my true nature is a burden. To be misunderstood is also a burden.
I feel that if I really had one person who got me, maybe I wouldn't be as lost
It's funny the only thing I ever really desired was connection and that is the one thing that always eluded me
I have to put in the effort to get those things I guess but my problem of authenticity is paralyzing me
I don't like playing the game because it isn't the real me but yet I'm scared to show the real me
Thus I'm stuck in a paradox
At least I have depth and I'm some what intelligent

Worked my way up from the bottom at my job
-Went from $10.50/hr to $23/hr
-Left $23/he for $25/hr 40/hr a week even tho I was happy at my old position
-Asked to get transferred back to my old position after 2 months because the new schedule was trash and wasnt hitting 40hrs weekly
-Didnt get it but was promised it would happen soon
-Waited 6 months with no communication about it and no progress so I put my 2 weeks in as a bluff sayin let me move back or consider this my 2 week notice (had a great reputation so I figured they didnt want to lose me)
-Bluff didn't work but was stubborn so was I was out of a job with Bill's stacking up
- Called back a month later looking for a check to do whatever
- Got 10hrs a week and on call 24/7 at 25/hr
- Did that for 3 months with basically no relaxation because work would call anytime between 6am til 2am and got 30 hours a week or less at 25/hrs a week
- after 2 months of that got 40/hr at $25/hr at 3 different spots a night
- Just got signed back on at what I was originally at $26/hr full time 40/hr at 1 location
