:ohhh: I heard about people using beer on their hair/skin.

It promotes collagen production and tones skin

I microwave and freeze the mix I make sporadically

I tried adding aloe Vera but it didn't mix well

What extras do you use?

I'm still perfecting my mix but what I have now is a pretty good base

10 ounces of shea butter
2 ounces of vegetable glycerin
About 1/4 ounce of both jojoba and castor oil

Next time I'll throw some of this cocoa butter in there and see if I notice any changes.
what do you use it for? body or hair?

i never measured amounts but i do a blend of shea, cocoa butter and coconut oil...but this is the butter mix i use to keep my feet soft so the smell doesn't really bother me. i hate smelling like food so i rarely use cocoa butter or coconut oil on my body or hair

I use it on my body.

I'm hoping that the smell will lessen since I plan to use more shea butter than cocoa butter but we'll see. If I like what it does for my skin then I'll just live with it or start playing around with essential oils.
