@Booksnrain @CarmelBarbie @HarlemHottie came across this content in my news and politics feed. I don’t come across many female you tubers with her mentality that speak about real issues. Thought I would share. to summarize, she talks about how people get excited over symbolic gestures and misplaced goals -a black actress starring in a remake of a white movie, majority white cast white hand me downs from white oriented programming produced by white hollyweird. Sees it as indoctrinaton and we’ve become too complacent with accepting their versions of fictional heroes and “role models” . Letting people outside the race control our image and what is presented.
