The breaking of illusions. Most if not all boys are lead to believe that women are perfect angels. That they cannot and will not hurt you. Instead of being told they're human with their own desires, hopes ect.
Rejection after pedistilization or rather humanizing after pedistalizing causes disillusionment. It's like realizing your dad isn't the strongest man in the world ect. It causes a shift in what you considered "your" reality. First you deny. Then you become angry because you cannot deny it. Then you resent the reality. Not because you can't control it, but because it is now alien to you and no one prepared you for it. They never once thought to tell you women weren't perfect and they can hurt you, but most importantly, they're human just like you.

So it’s less about resenting “women”, and more about the Inability to hold onto the lie about women? Resenting reality in a sense.
I’ve dealt with this in marriage and it’s the fukking worst.
I have a son.. and I am committed to teaching him to humanize woman and see them not only as equals, but also equally as flawed as him.
