Anybody watching this new Suge Knight documentary on Showtime ..? Called American Dream/American Knightmare by Antoine Fuqua. Only 25 mins in and learned the following:
Suge's mom was the OG gangster ,had him and his dad hitting liks, gambling, taught them the finesse game..
-stole $5,500 from a dead man..hs mom told him she wanted half of the $
-his mom made his dad steal items from the warehouse where he worked as a truck driver to wholesale in the hood bc he wasn't making enough Money to pay the bills .
During the interview, Suge's father said, "my wife was a pretty thing" she gave him that look like
"Dafuq do you mean WAS...what? I'm not pretty now ??? Huh?? You don't think I'm still pretty??" She was deadass too, at 80 yrs old, she needed that reassurance about her looks.
Somebody should start a thread, Suge was a complex person but very smart despite appearances. Good interview so far. Talks about physically threatening people,"getting his hands dirty "in the entertainment industry. How football players are plantation slaves ...
