Very unique culture and probably one of the most unique in the world. Primarily African/creole culture but large Indian and Javanese populations and influence. Food is bomb, probably the most unique in the Caribbean and South America due to the European, Caribbean, African, Brazilian, East Asian, Indian and Indonesian influence. Everything is VERY cheap including food. Although I ate at Popeyes for lunch, the place was packed

Infrastructure is defintely dated. taxis is how you get around
