Yo...I got 1 last question then I'm a leave it alone. I dont wanna spam the other thread so here's the question. Actually its 3 questions being that the discussion was hip hop. This is for personal reasons, I wanna see what type of person I'm really dealing with. I'm old school.....But I'm trying to figure out you new school nikkaz so enlighten me. Now to me it sounded like u look at the term "Nappy" as derogetory.....I dont know why. Kinda comes off self hating but maybe I'm wrong. So here's the 3 questions.
1) What did u think when u first heard Naughty By Natures classic song "Uptown Anthem" when Treach rapped:

2) What did u think of the rap group "Nappy Roots"
3) What did you think of Fugees first hit "Nappy Heads?" Lauryn says she has a 'hand full of nappy roots' with pride yet for some reason u had an issue with me doing the same.
My bad breh, I’m just seeing this. I’ll answer ya questions, though.
1. I’m not familiar with that song, as I admittedly didn’t listen to much east coast hip hop as a youngin. My people had me on Ball & G, UGK, BG, and I listened to rappers like that religiously. To answer your question though, and after analyzing the lyrics, I see where you’re going or where you’re coming from. It’s not something I’d do, I’ve never heard folks describe themselves or their parents as having nappy hair, but it appears some don’t have a problem with it.
2. I’m a Nappy Roots fan.
3. Never heard that song. I see what you’re saying, though. Again, I’ve never heard it publicly myself, but you’ve come with receipts and proof, so I’ll fall back.
