Listen just admit you dislike PRs. It is what it is... I dislike Italians/Sicilians a lot but I don't let my dislike of them cloud my objectivity that they DO have a maximum of 10-15% African DNA. 1. You continue avoid the fact that Haiti is apart of Latin America and that Haitian culture OVERLAPS with Spanish Caribbean culture. This is a fact.

2. Just because NON-BLACK Spanish speaking islanders isolate themselves from other Islanders does not mean they are no longer Caribbean. That is where your argument/"real world" thing stems from. You have no issues having Indo-Guyanese/Trinidadians as Caribbeans when they TOO isolate themselves. And to add insult they are LATE COMERS to the Caribbean.

There are tradional caribbean countries and cultures with shared struggles and history, I didnt establish this yesterday.

Uh... Can you elaborate? Because you as a English speaking West Indian do not have culture that overlaps with Latin speaking Caribbean. Either way... Caribbean culture whether it be French, Spanish or English overlaps with each other.

Like I KEEP telling you Haitian culture overlaps with Spanish speaking islanders. This is a fact. And yet you have Haitians as Caribbeans.

In the real world this is it. You can clearly see it everyday by the fact that carribean people have their own neighborhoods in america and hispanics have theirs.

Again this is what your argument is solely based on. Okay and...? Puerto Ricans and AAs live side by side with each other in places like the Bronx. And if we want to be real Haitians TOO have their OWN communities in America especially in places like Florida. Its only in places like BK/Flatbush where Haitians are mixed with other Caribbeans. In Canada it worse becase Haitians stay in the French speaking part while English speaking islanders stay in the English part. Once again what is your point?

North Sudanese and Swahili people like to consider themselves Arabs, separate from Africans and more in the Arab community, this still does not take away from the fact that their culture is AFRICAN, they are AFRICAN and that they are from AFRICA. And "Hispanic" is a very general term, Hispanics who are not even monolithic.

Except.......... Latin American and Caribbean are NOT mutually exclusive. LA is a CULTURAL region term while "Caribbean" is a geographic demonym term.
