I'm trying to organize a spelling bee for my daughter's school next year. I think it will be fun for the kids and a good way to boost their vocabulary. Maybe even do a movie night where they watch Akeelah and the bee for some inspiration. Charge $1 or $2 to the community for admission and sell items to boost the PTA. It sounds good but there is always some stupid ass policy standing in the way of what seems like a simple ass idea.

My cousin was killed the other night and we are meeting today at 5 to discuss the plans or whatever. I think we also have to talk to a detective, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, my c*nt aunt being the c*nt that she is supposedly had a life insurance policy on him and said something like "Yall not getting any of my money until I know the details". Something c*nty. My other aunt (my cousin's mother) said "I'm not for her shyt, I'll sell candy bars on the street to pay for it, if I need to". So will I, then.
This is the same c*nty aunt that had the house phone disconnected after my grandmother died and didn't tell my aunt, that lived in the house with my grandmother. That house served as a hub for everything and she had the phone number for YEARS...like since I was a little girl. People were calling regularly to get status update, checking in or whatever else. Not saying she had to keep it on, but could have at least told my aunt so she could take over the bill. It's going be interesting. I hope they don't start fighting.

When my grandmother on my dad's side passed away, I didn't find out about it till 2 days before the funeral on facebook by my half sister. I don't even be on facebook like that so I don't blame my sister for being the ONLY one on letting me know since she sent the message a week ago before the funeral at that time, but my grandmother was being taken care of by my father who always had my phone number or mom's, so he had no excuse to not let me know what happen. This one of the reasons why I don't talk to him or most of my family on his side in ohio now. I didn't get a chance to see her one more time after visiting in 2007 so I'm still mad about not saying goodbye/ missing out on her funeral.
