The weirdest thing that ever happened in my life was the time my nephew's father faked his death. This happened over ten years ago he had his own shrimp boat and we thought he made good money and recently he started to become more active in my nephews life taking him out all of sudden. Turned out he was kind of a drug lord and he pretended to fall off his boat and get lost at sea . His family through him a big funeral and my nephew who was around 10 at the time spoke ( his mother and wife knew he was alive btw). We believed he was dead for at least half a year until he tried to renew some license in Atlanta and got caught, he and his wife were indicted. Neither really served that long a sentence.
