The metal key on your car fob that goes into the ignition. It fell off my fob somehow. So i put it in my ignition and tried to start my car. It wouldnt start. Sounds like something was stopping it. I thought my car was broken.

But latwr on in day i put my fob back together with the metal key part and it started first time with no problems. Apparently cars have somethinf called an immoblizer that wont let you start it without the electronic bit in the key fob. And because my key fell out and i was just uaing that part it didnt recognise it as my key or something.
