shyt...after 3 days of studying, looks like getting a house might not be smart at all within the next couple years due to all the other fees that come with home ownership.
I would be better served to try to maximize my career growth over the next few years, rent cheaply, and put significant savings into 401k, IRA, and savings.
I guess home ownership shouldn't be a goal for at least 5 years when I am probably more likely to have found a city I want to put down roots in, rather than just having a home
to have one.
