Even just now, my father showing further proof of why it's bad to have an ego. Can't handle any form of constructive criticism. Everything he does he thinks he's right even when he's wrong. He disrespects the very same people that try to help him better himself or save him when he isn't doing what he's supposed to do. It's extremely draining to deal with and because of that, he hasnt been able to grow to his full potential and even finds himself in problems. He blames anything that goes wrong for him on other people or other things. No sense of responsibility.
So when I see other individuals on the same shyt as him or they remind of him, I just am saddened at that because I know where that shyt leads to. Humility is a great thing. Anything that could make someone big headed to the point where they are playing themselves is not worth having. Best to have someone or something that makes them humble vs someone or something that doesn't.
