Think that it's very ironic seeing how folks love the first, third and fourth seasons of the wire because of the whole drug dealing, gunplay, murders, ghetto, crime investigation, cops and robbers aspect of the show but hate the second and fifth seasons even though the main themes of the seasons are very relevant in today's America-the death of the working class, gentrification, the media, news outlets covering up shyt or exposing folks and fake news.

I have a friend that works at the Port and my dad was also a longshoreman, so that season was interesting to me. It was also interesting to get an idea of what comes in and what goes out, specifically the drugs.
