Rihanna is light skin...I think colorism might have something to do with it. Why she doesn't get called out but Serena does. In one token, I don't feel like folks really see her as a Black woman. But an exotic or mixed Black woman so its not taken as seriously. Like if Ayesha Curry was dating a white man...I don't think it would taken the same as if Lupita does. I think darker skinned folks get crucified much harsher for dating out.

Can you find the same for a light skinned Black woman and a white guy? So it could be colorism and sexism.

I remember when Rihanna dated Ryan Philippe everyone was talking how cute they looked together. I think its her light eyes too, why ppl look at it as not being such a big deal. All of those things add up. Serena has definitely been getting dogged out across social media though.
