Doggystyle is Dr. Dre's original vision for The Chronic, but with a much better rapper. I don't think Dr. Dre ever really wanted to rap. Doggystyle is the best produced rap album in history next to 36 Chambers & Aquemini.

I really appreciate the classics as I get older. It's up to us to keep these records alive and affirm their status. I'm only 24, but I don't hear anyone in my cohort talking about older LPs. 90s rap is oldies.
