I dont point out hypocracy for no reason, but that is incredibly hypocritical to say people need to save and live below their means when you were just payday loaning and couldn't afford a tire, and act like you don’t understand it….you were just fukkin there down bad. Don’t act like you’re fiscally smarter than these people….you’re just older and live in squalor.
You calling my perspective on money now vs then hypocrisy is laughable. I'm not defending the way I lived back then at all. I wasn't down bad I was a financial idiot. I blew my money, trashed my credit, and lived outside my means and that was the result. I also made decisions cleaned up my finances stopped buying anything I couldn't afford and live better now for it.
You're just backing my point that if people behave financially responsible they'll be better for it.
Plenty of low cost of living areas in Michigan have rent not too far for what I pay. You live in a state with crap weather you get some benefits for it and that's one. You can also hat a good single family home for $220K or so when the national average is closer to $450K.

Again I've lived in the same apartment for 15 years without moving. They can only go up on your rent so much per year so the rates new tenets pay will be higher than I pay. If I left here I couldn't get an equal apartment for that rate.
Almost nobody lives in an apartment for that long. This living in squalor as it was put was a strategic decision to allow me to save and invest more. I'm comfortable living where I do even if it's squalor.
Most of yall here are probably doing way better than me financially and in living situation but when I say live well under your means I practice what I preach. I live well under what I can afford but I also live comfortably. I don't need to live at the edge of what I can afford.

Well, one thing I will say is Nintendo fans saying Mario Kart isn't worth $80. But yet don't want to by the bundle which has the game with the console for $50 because it's digital.

This is the same company that stopped putting cheat codes in games and attached them to a $15-$20 toy. Same company that put out a lazy port of 3D Mario games that free fan work on Dolphin outclassed and had the nerve to make it a limited time purchase, even the digital version. Always the first to disable the digital stores on prior consoles and kill their network services then go after fans for trying to emulate those games they can't even buy anymore.Yoooo nintendo is ruthless
These same people shouting about drop the price soaked all that shyt up and was all for it. Nintendo has always been a dirtbag company. The years of suffering they went through when Sony ate their lunch and third parties wouldn't mess with them were well deserved. Nintendo seal of quality and if you put your game on a Sega platform it can't be on ours. Refusing to let go of cartridges when the market wanted CDs because they lost a level of licensing price on the physical media.
