This is the kind of shit I'm talking about.
The outrage over a company executive saying we plan to keep our previous product going for people that can't afford our new product.
what he said wasn't even wrong.

this is no different from when the switch launched (or was still called the NX) and NoJ said the 3DS and Wii-U would still be supported and the NX was not a successor.

or after Switch's 1 year, Nintendo in general said the 3DS was still going to be supported

If the CEO of Honda Motor Co said we have Hondas for our customers that are unable to afford Acuras as a Honda owner I'm not offended at all.

People just feel entitled to video game consoles. Like the companies should always cater specifically to them and their individual budget. We aren't talking about housing prices or something important. We're talking about a luxury item that's not necessary to survive and this isn't thousands of dollars it's a few hundred.

Again I don’t have to live here. It’s a choice. Part of living below your means is making decisions like that. Having things that aren’t as nice as the things other people who are broke have.

And no somebody moving in today is not paying $670 they’re paying at least $820. My rent is so cheap because I’ve lived in the same apartment for over 14 years so my landlord gives me a better rate for being a good tenant and remaining here. Hell $30 of that $670 is for the pet.
I call CAP

Aint no landlord that nice

Ill still buy and everybody that i talked to is buying it. Depending on tariffs.

What surprises me though is how much people whine about game devs needing to be paid more for the work, but they dont want to be the ones to foot the bill. NoA CEO said prices were on a case by case basis. If sony or microsoft did this with this gen i dont people would've said shyt.

TLDR: Get your money up.
I think games shouldn't have movie budgets and scale down the graphics

Nintendo is already proving that doesn’t mean anything. Their games are made on shoe string budgets in Kyoto, a far cheaper region than Western California, and they are now charging more than other AAA publishers.

if EA/Ubisoft/Sony/Rockstar start making games like Nintendo they are still gonna keep charging more money for them, we are just going to get a worse experience. Yall nikkas would crash out if they stopped including voiced dialogue for video games like Nintendo.

Imagine how much EA and Ubisoft would charge for their yearly "deluxe editions" if $80 becomes the standard :scust:
