I don't think Swerve's opponent mattered that much, it was a way to further this angle and Swerve has proven to be one of the better draws in the company now. Good for him getting that spot.

Jay White hasn't been in a good feud since working MJF other than his run in with Hangman. He also looked incredibly stupid and weak losing to MJF with MJF being on one leg during their blow off match.

Those back to back promo segments were a bad idea. JJ was a mess in that second one and I’m sure that’s why TK pivoted.
I still think they shoulda used JJ to push the Hangman feud. Like have a one-off match on Dynamite where MJF fukks up JJ, then Hangman makes the save. Full circle with Hangman/JJ dating back to the last OHC.
