Ain't no way that top talent in NJPW wasn't looking to transfer over to US with the increase in opportunities out here. Plenty of the women have transferred over and who knows how many will eventually. And those are Japanese women, so imagine men such as Canadians in Omega and New Zealanders like White and British like Ospreay. Okada is understandable being Japanese cuz he already was a big star out there and felt like he wanted to try something new.
I'll give you a perfect example of the Japan to US thing that is relevant to recent events. I assume most people know who Shohei Ohtani is, if you don't he's quite arguably the best baseball player playing today, maybe even all time by the time his career is over, that remains to be seen. He left Japan to come to US some years back to the Angels and this past season signed with the Dodgers and just won the world series. His contract is 10 years for 700 million. Way more than he would've made in Japan, plus more of a bigger international star now playing in a major market like LA. He doesn't have that same money or success staying in Japan. Same with wrestling talent. Can't compare the US and Japan when it comes to potential.
AS far as the partnership goes, even on the US side. Imagine if WWE and TNA had announced a joint event coming up in the future. TNA has had plenty of big stars over their history. Would there be the same discourse on that side if AJ Styles had returned to help promote the show on Impact like Kenny did?

Omega going to NOOJ is more of keeping the lights on because the current roster is not it. No different from Omega going to DDT for their big event a few years ago.

imma keep it 100, this sub is fukkin boring without any drama. The live posting is the only decent thing here, but outside of that this place lacks the “thrill” TSC used to have.
Back in the day there was always threads popping up where jokes were cracked and it made this sub better than everything else out there. Nowadays it’s just the same shyt posters complaining to start up something just to make this place a little interesting.
Look how peaceful it’s been for weeks. Boring as shyt. I tried to start up threads where we could crack jokes, but no one wanna help out.
It’s sad how bytching and complaining to start arguments is the only thing keeping this sub from being completely dead. Even one poster made a thread for the drama and that only lasted 2-3 days.

@MenacingMonk For the most part this wrestling shyt been boring me to tears.... I'm as big of a wrestling fan as anyone but AEW been meh lately, RAW has had it's moments but still too many people I don't wanna see and I don't really care too much about most of SD!

Looks to have passed the numbers from that previous Dynamite. Still 2 and a half weeks left. Good chance it hits that 7k mark. Gonna be interesting to see how those upper deck seats do within the next week or so as more of the event gets built.
