I've always read they can't go live because of some contractual language from WBD. Internationally a lot of people just subscribe to AEW+ on TrillerTV so they can watch it live or whenever they want instead of waiting on the tv network to air it sometimes days later.ITV need to start doing a live broadcast even if it's at 1am - they're a couple of days behind at least I think. I don't think that's a surprise it's been headed that way for a month now. Not that anyone really wants it... I wonder what happened because it definitely seemed like Darby was primed to take the title and then he decides now isn't the time and he wants to do the climb? Weird all around

Darby was always going to do Everest this year, he didn't do it last year because of a last minute injury but he always said he was going to do it as soon as he could.
Wouldn't shock me if the plan is still for him to get the belt from Mox tbh. Which is fukking hilarious.
And the fact no one really wants Cope vs Mox but they still going for it is exactly why this is "fukk you" booking. The inability to pivot when people are asking for it AND you got so many options on the roster to do something different is clearly a sign TK is either too set in his ways or Mox is has too much damn influence over him (well, him getting this title reign was already a sign of that).

People called me crazy for wanting them to pivot to Hobbs but it would have been a crazy pop and a huge surprise. Even if it just ended up being transitional, it would have done wonders for Powerhouse. They could have easily shifted Edge and Mox to a non-title program at that point.
But I do think Mox and Jericho have too much influence. Bryan is basically "retired" now and Omega doesn't pull any strings so it's just Mox and Jericho left from the 2019 days and TK is far too loyal to them. It's like a sports team hanging on to a star player that's clearly washed yet they still try to build around him. Embiid on the Sixers status Lol.
They have Hangman, Ospreay, Swerve, Okada, Omega... all better options than Mox
If they do go thru with that match, there has to be some sort of swerve or something unexpected that can try and salvage it. Things can always change leading up to the event tho.
