Damn, never heard this but lookin at the quote he does sound a lil hurt

:lolbron:

If anything AEW running it and the noise that made for GCW helped. He should be thanking big dikk Tony for the press if anything

The Bay
Hangman/CD is just filler and likely a sendoff for Daniels as an in-ring competitor.
and so in MJF/Jarrett.

Thing is... they don't need to be wasting guys that should be actively doing something in the company worth a shyt on retirement angles for TNA talent from 20 years ago.
Especially when TNA still not only exists, but just inked a deal with their primary competition.

If Jarrett or Daniels need victory laps, let them go job to Hank & Tank before an NXT PLE :camby:- wasting two of AEW's very few believable talents on programs about putting down a bunch of old nikkas is so dumb. Especially when the most over people in his company right now are pusing 50 themselves because the younger, believable guys been in deadend anglesfor months so Moxley can do his Inappropriate Baldhead Theatre.

I’m not an MJF fan, so I don’t care if he’s working a program with JJ. But IWC always wants to complain about something and react in the moment. Months from now, maybe even before March, both of them will move on and no one will care what they’re doing right now. There’s 365 days in a year and 2025 isn’t even a month old. :unimpressed:

They can do a Tennessee legends night in Nashville where Jarrett can put over Jay Lethal and that’ll be that. You can’t do a retirement story right after you did it with Sting and you definitely can’t do one with Jeff Jarrett at the same time as John Cena.

He’s not lying. Top stars gotta wrestle each other.

I agree. Snowman writing too much sidequest filler for his top guys. I think AEW is decent right now, but it does feel like everyone is just spinning their wheels. We're waiting for something major to happen with the Death Riders angle to get pieces moving again.

One of the worst parts of current AEW are these washed mfs seeing the treatment Sting got thinking they want/deserve the same. And Tony Khan is obliging it.

West where the Sunsets
— It appears last night’s Christopher Daniels vs. Adam Page Texas death match was Daniels’ last career match. He will continue to work in talent relations for AEW, ending a 32 plus year in-ring career. It wasn’t brought up like that or pushed on television, but that was his call not to make a big deal about it. But backstage talent was there Thursday night with that impression and he was very emotional backstage when he got back. I do know he’ll be on Talk is Jericho this week discussing this.

Tony Khan's issue right now is plan b booking and segment/match placement.

The Deathriders angle with everything going on around the show is mid show.
